- Edited Videos: When you save edited videos, we need write permission to your photo library (only used to save the videos you choose to export)
- Video Organization Data: Tags, notes, reminders, and other metadata you add to your videos (stored locally on your device only)
- App Preferences: Theme selection, language preferences, and other settings (stored locally)
- Feedback Information: Email address and feedback content when you contact us through email
1.2 Automatically Collected Information

2. How We Use Information
2.1 Core Service Provision
We use collected information to provide and improve our services:
- Video Import: Access your photo library to import videos you select for editing
- Video Processing: Process videos locally on your device for trimming, editing, and audio separation
- Video Organization: Store your tags, notes, and reminders locally to help you organize your video collection
- Settings Management: Remember your app preferences (theme, language) for a personalized experience
- Subscription Management: Manage your Pro membership status and benefits through Apple's StoreKit
2.2 Service Improvement
We use anonymous, aggregated statistics to:

2.3 Advertising (Free Users Only)

- Video Content: All your videos, both original and edited, remain in your device's photo library
- Video Metadata: Tags, notes, reminders, and other organizational data
- Editing History: Your editing preferences and recent edits
- App Settings: Theme, language, and other preferences
- Usage Quota: Daily usage tracking for free users (stored locally)
3.2 What May Leave Your Device
- Anonymous Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics sent to Firebase
- Crash Reports: Anonymized error logs to help us fix bugs (no personal information included)
- Ad Requests: For free users, ad serving requests to Google AdMob (with your IDFA if tracking is enabled)
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Firebase (Google)
Service Purpose: Anonymous app analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring
Data Collected: Device type, iOS version, app version, anonymized usage patterns, crash logs
Data Retention: Analytics data is automatically deleted after 14 months; crash logs after 90 days

- Delete Individual Videos: Swipe left on any video in the library to delete

- Uninstall App: Deleting the app removes all local data (videos in photo library remain)
- Reset Settings: Restore default settings without affecting your video library
6.3 Permission Management
You can manage app permissions in iOS Settings → Video Helper:
- Photos Permission: Control access to your photo library (required for core functionality)
- Notifications: Enable/disable reminder notifications
- Tracking: Enable/disable ad tracking (affects personalized ads for free users)
6.4 Data Portability
Your videos are stored in standard formats in your photo library, ensuring you can:
- Access them with any photo/video app on your device
- Transfer them via AirDrop, email, or other sharing methods
- Back them up to iCloud Photos or other cloud services
- Export them to computer via iTunes/Finder
7. Children's Privacy Protection
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at service@baize-hk.com, and we will take prompt action to delete such information.
8. International Users & Data Transfers
8.1 Data Location
Your video content and metadata remain on your device and are not transferred internationally. Anonymous analytics data may be stored on Google Cloud servers, which may be located in various countries.
